Booking a Romantic Break in Paris? Here’s Where to Stay

Ever wanted to take your partner away for a short break somewhere really special? We’ve all been there, and we all know just how difficult it can be to select the perfect location. Still, most of us have heard about how Paris is often called the city of love, so that probably gives you some indication about its suitability.

I traveled to Paris myself only a couple of months ago on business, and though my partner didn’t tag along, the amount of British couples on romantic breaks was truly noticeable. In fact, I don’t think a single day went by where I didn’t see hundreds of them all holding hands and kissing as they strolled through the beautiful architecture that lines the Paris streets.

So, if you agree with me and think that France could be the ideal setting for your romantic getaway, have a quick read through the rest of this article and I’ll do my utmost to fill you in on some of the best places to find accommodation in this magnificently classy French utopia.

Hotel Vernet

Honeymooners booking through Venere.com rarely have a bad word to say about this place. Located within a stones throw of the world famous Arc de Triomphe, smack bang in the middle of the most enchanting section of Paris, I absolutely guarantee you’ll love this place. Depending upon the time of year you choose to travel and the current deals on offer, a room at this hotel wont usually cost much more than £200 per night – and boy is it worth it.

Hotel Lutetia

With the most stunning art deco found in the region, this hotel is situated on the left bank with very good sized rooms perfect for the occasional lazy day. In fact, you might be interested to know that the smallest, least expensive room in the entire complex is a whopping 185 square feet in size. This one is always popular with creative types and those who’ve come to view some of France’s most impressive art galleries.

Hotel De Banville

For those on a tighter budget but who are still looking for a romantic experience, this hotel is perfect. Every room is decorated in different traditional styles and some even have balconies that overlook the Eiffel Tower. You’ll be provided with slippers, robes, and a turn down service that is sure to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I actually spoke to a young couple who were staying in this hotel, and they told me it was the most beautiful place they’d ever encountered.

Hotel du Jeu de Paume

If luxury is your thing, then make sure you don’t overlook this hotel. Located right in the middle of the city within walking distance of all Paris’s most famous restaurants (no, they don’t only serve frogs legs), this place is perfect for couples looking to stroll hand in hand and maybe even steal a kiss down by the Seine River.

Well, there you go my friends. There are many other nice hotels in Paris, these are just the best ones I came across. Wherever you decide to stay, i’m sure you’ll have a truly memorable time.

Au Revoir!
