International community - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The international community is a term used by activists, politicians and commentators in the context of calling for action against political repression and to protect human rights. The phrase usually does not literally refer to all people, cultures, and governments of the world. The phrase "international community" usually refers to the speaker and their broadly defined allies. The phrase is often used by the United States of America in international relations to refer to themselves and their allies in the broadest sense.[1][2][3]
