Dan Wells, właśc. Daniel Andrew Wells (ur. 4 marca 1977 w Salt Lake City) – amerykański pisarz, twórca literatury młodzieżowej, autor horrorów, thrillerów, książek science fiction i fantasy; brat pisarza Robisona Wellsa[1].

Życiorys[edytuj | edytuj kod]

Ukończył studia licencjackie z zakresu anglistyki na Uniwersytecie Brighama Younga. Za swoją twórczość otrzymał nagrody: Hugo (za współautorstwo eseju Writing Excuses, Season Seven)[2], dwukrotnie Parsec Award (za współautorstwo podcastingu Writing Excuses) oraz pięciokrotnie Whitney Award (za powieści Nie jestem seryjnym mordercą, Pan Potwór, I Don’t Want to Kill You, The Hollow City oraz The Devil’s Only Friend)[3][4]. Jego powieść Nie jestem seryjnym mordercą została zekranizowana[5].

Ma żonę i pięcioro dzieci. Mieszka w Orem. Jest mormonem[6].
