Recent Contributions To Frightened Rabbit[edit]

I have seen your recent contributions to Frightened Rabbit, and I noticed they seem to lack references. I have not reverted the contributions in light of your previous involvement in the creation of several other articles pertaining to Frightened Rabbit (I commend your interest in the band) as well as the impression that you would not add speculation to the Frightened Rabbit article; however, it would be great if you could add references to the information you added. Jane's Addiction[edit]

Of course they are associated. Bit of a brain fart on my part, I'm pretty sure I argued for RHCP staying ages ago (or at least re-added them) due to having 2 members in common and yet here I am removing them. Ach well. HrZ (talk) 13:24, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Chfe.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Chfe.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:05, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on British Theatre (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Yasht101 16:52, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Adam Granduciel has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Priestess & the Violators[edit]

I don't mean to seem pushy or snobby (and I apologize if I do), but Wikipedia isn't too keen on listing acts as being associated with each other if they only have one member in common between them. Per the heading "associated_acts" on the Infobox musical artist template page:

  • Association of groups with members' solo careers
  • Groups with only one member in common
  • Association of producers, managers, etc. (who are themselves acts) with other acts (unless the act essentially belongs to the producer, as in the case of a studio orchestra formed by and working exclusively with a producer)
  • One-time collaboration for a single, or on a single song
  • Groups that are merely similar

It would be more relevant if Vince Nudo actually had his own page here, but the most he has is a redirect to the band's article - he is not yet qualified to have his own article.

I'd agree with you if there was more of an established rapport between these two bands, but I've not been able to find sources that even have the two acts mentioned in the same piece. If this is indeed the same Vince Nudo who plays drums for Priestess, then I must also point out that he also formed a film-scoring suite with guitarist Dan Watchorn called Frères Lumières; however, their notability has not yet been established either and I've had difficulty finding any third-party material on them at all, and so I've not mentioned it on their page. I'm working on a solution to that problem, though, and if you'd like to help, feel free to talk it over with me on the band's Talk page. If you would like, I'll see you there. Vince Nudo & Kurt Vile[edit]

What's up? I found an article for the claim you posted twice to the Priestess (band) article. However, I'm still not sure we should include it just yet because as far as I know nothing regarding their hiatus has yet been found, so I don't know if this is relevant to them per se (i.e. I don't know if Vince took this job up because Priestess have broken up/gone on hiatus/whatever, or if he would have done so regardless). In any case, I've written a proper citation for it, so if/when we put it back in we can cite it this time. Here's the link: http://www.sentinelandenterprise.com/breakingnews/ci_23266773/fitchburg-guitarist-appear-letterman-tonight

Your GA nomination of Shields (album)[edit]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Shields (album) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Sparklism -- Sparklism (talk) 09:42, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there EC. I see you've made some changes to the article, which is great :) Are these changes in response to my comments in the GA review? If so, it's probably best if you can respond to the points directly at the review page - that way it's simplest for the reviewer (in this case, me!) to see which points have been addressed.
I see the GA review process as a collaborative exercise between us to try to get the page to GA status - the best way to collaborate is to discuss it, since you may not agree with all of my points. I'm really looking forward to working on this with you, since I've seen the quality of your work to album articles many times. Good luck! — sparklism hey! 18:50, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again. Just wondering what's happening here - did you see the comments I made at the review page? When/if you address those points, I'll take another look at the article. Thanks :) — sparklism hey! 13:56, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi EC. I see there's still been no movement on this. Since it's been over a week since I posted the message above, and well over a fortnight since the GA review began, and the article has still got a long way to go to get to GA status (my main concern, as detailed on the review page, is that the article doesn't talk enough about the music, but there are many other points I can see that will need addressing in order to reach GA status), then it's looking like the GA review will fail this time around unless we see some significant progress in the next couple of days. Are you still planning to work on this in the short term? Thanks — sparklism hey! 16:07, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Shields (album)[edit]

The article Shields (album) you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Shields (album) for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Sparklism -- Sparklism (talk) 12:03, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi EC. I don't know what happened, but the lack of progress on the GA review has resulted in this closure, since it can't stay open forever. I hope this doesn't mean you'll be downhearted - this is still a well-written article, and could easily make GA should the issues raised in the review be addressed.
I've said before that your contributions here are of a high standard, and the extensive list of articles you have on your user page is testament to that. I'd be happy to work with you on some of those to get them to GA in the future (I'm thinking maybe Benji or The Winter of Mixed Drinks, hint hint...)
