State parks[edit]

I think we need to discuss what to include in this section. Right now it seems like a random sampling of the various state park units.

  • If we list them all, that’s something like 120 items. That’s way too many and would render the navbox useless.
  • We could trim it down to just the main article List of Alaska state parks.
  • Or something in between, listing only the major parks like Denali or Chugach in the navbox and leaving out items like Deep Creek, which has never had more than a few sentences written about it.

Thoughts, anyone? Beeblebrox (talk) 20:49, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Checking back in to again see if anyone has an opinion. I am personally in favor of the third option above. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:15, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, here's what I went with: All ful state parks are lsited, as well as a link to the full list of all units. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:45, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The 'list of Alaska state parks' is already linked in the title to that section. I removed the 2nd listing, as it is a duplicate and it was causing too much whitespace. Perhaps listing the most important ones is best. --Funandtrvl (talk) 18:16, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
