I'm removing the list of battles from here as it merely duplicates what already exists in the campaign infoboxs for both of the Riel Rebellions. Besides which some of those battles were mainly Cree affairs, not Metis. --Kevlar (talk • contribs) 07:22, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I propose repurposing this to include Metis people in the United States, since there is no good reason to exclude them as the topics like the Metis French and Michif languages apply equally to them. --Kevlar (talk • contribs) 06:19, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
