Staurogyne hirsuta is a species of plant native to Brazilian cerrado vegetation. It is a subshrub endemic to Minas Gerais state in southeastern Brazil.[1] This plant is cited in Flora Brasiliensis by Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius.
