Rostamabad (Persian: رستم اباد, also Romanized as Rostamābād; also known as Rostamī and Rustami)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Poshtkuh Rural District[4] of the Central District of Ardal County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. The village is populated by Lurs.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,091 in 276 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,066 people in 319 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,037 people in 302 households.[2]
