Jebalbarez (Persian: جبالبارز), also Romanized as Jebālbārez and Jebāl Bārez,[3] formerly Mohammadabad (محمدآباد),[4] is a city in, and the capital of, Jebalbarez District of Jiroft County, Kerman province, Iran.[5] It also serves as the administrative center for Maskun Rural District.[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,639 in 576 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 4,416 people in 1,081 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 6,750 people in 1,970 households.[2]
