Description
English: Climate types in Sub Saharan Africa with the most widespread and stereotypical African climate type the tropical Savannah in light blue. The Sahara Desert in the North with a Hot Arid climate in the North and the Namib in the South West shown in red. The Plateau areas in East and Southern Africa display a temperate climate with a dry winter and wet summer shown in the two shades of green and the Southern tip of Africa displays a temperate Mediterranean climate with a wet winter and dry summer shown in yellow.
