Summary

Description
English: Kijapuja The fifth/last day of Yamapanchak is celebrated with Kija Puja, on the day of Lakshmi Puja, the year-long financial balances are closed by worshiping Goddess Lakshmi (currently done in the middle of June), on the day of Pratipada, the new year is welcomed by self-purification and on the fifth day (last) of Yamapanchak Day), sisters or sisters give mutual respect, love and good wishes to brothers or sisters! On this day in the Newar community, mandas based on tantra are made, decorated with materials such as soybeans, taya, naibedh, which represent various tantric importance, and according to their custom, ritual worship is carried forward! According to another legend, when Yamaraj and Yamadut came to pick up his brother, who was criticizing him, she asked him not to pick up his brother until the pooja was done, and accordingly Yamaraj accepted the request and joined the pooja! Yamaraj is happy with sister's deep love for her brother and asks for a boon, then sister smartly asks for a boon saying that you will not be able to take my brother until the chikan mand (circle made of oil) in the mand dries up and the gweswānmā (velvet garland) fades away! They sit waiting for the time when the existence of Gweswānmā will end, even after years of those things not being destroyed, Yamaraj and Yamadut gives up, he is forced to return empty-handed!
