Summary

Description The second story of the Samnite House was partially preserved, but what we see today gives a false-sense of authenticity. It better reflects Mauri's vision of how the house should look. That being said, it seems that at some point the house was divided up and the upper rooms were blocked off from the main atrium in order to turn them in to separate apartments.
