English: 1880s photograph by Henry Cousens (d. 1933[1]) of cliffs overlooking the Bhutanatha Temple Complex on the eastern end of the artificial lake in en:Badami, en:Karnataka, India. (Oriental and India Office Collection, British Library.) The en:Kappe Arabhatta inscription is carved on a cliff at the north-eastern shore of the lake.
