For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB Reiche 2.12.76 Berlin: Bulat Okudshawa, der in seiner sowjetischen Heimat sehr populäre Dichter, Komponist, Sänger und Gitarrist, gastierte am 2. und 1.12. und am 29.11.76 im Theater im Palast. Die Veranstaltung, von dieser kleinen Bühne und dem Verlag Volk und Welt gemeinsam organisiert, fand großen Anklang beim Publikum. Der Künstler wurde 1924 in Moskau als Sohn einer Armenierin und eines Georgiers geboren. Er veröffentlichte 1956 seine erste Gedichtsammlung, der Werke verschiedener literarischer Genres folgten. Sein historischer Roman "Merci oder die Abenteuer Schipows" soll 1978 im Verlag Volk und Welt erscheinen.
