Стан Гец (на английски: Stan Getz) е американски джаз саксофонист.[1]

Биография[редактиране | редактиране на кода]

Роден е на 2 февруари 1927 г. във Филаделфия. Започва кариерата си през 1943 г. и в края на 40-те години става известен с участието си в биг бенда на Уди Хърман, създавайки си репутация на един от водещите саксофонисти на своето време. През 60-те години изиграва важна роля за популяризирането на боса нова. Неговата съвместна работа с Чарли Бърд, Jazz Samba, е едно от първите цялостни произведения в тази насока в САЩ.

Стан Гец умира на 6 юни 1991 г. в Малибу.
