Agshin Anvarli (October 10, 1994, Gabala - November 6, 2020,

Khojavend region)-Lieutenant of the Medical Service of the Azerbaijani

Armed Forces, martyr of the Great Patriotic War.

Life

Agshin Faig oglu Anvarli was born on October 10, 1994 in the city of Gabala. In

2001-2012 he studied at the secondary school No. 4 named after N. Apayev in

Gabala. He received his higher education in 2012-2018 at the Azerbaijan

Medical University (AMU). He was single.

Military service

In 2018, Agshin Anvarli began his service in the military unit "N" of the

Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Nakhchivan with the rank of lieutenant of

medical service. After a while, he was appointed chief of the Medical Service of

the Special Forces. Agshin Anvarli, a lieutenant of the Azerbaijani Army,

provided assistance to servicemen wounded in the battles for the liberation of

Jabrayil, Fizuli, Gubadli, Shusha and Khojavand during the Patriotic War

launched by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on September 2Anvarli was martyred on November 6 during the Khojavand battles. During

the fighting, he received the rank of "senior lieutenant" in the entrenchment.

He was buried in Gabala region. According to the Order of the President of

Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, dated 15.12.2020, Agshin Anvarli was posthumously

awarded the medal "For the Motherland" for participating in military

operations to ensure the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and honorably

fulfilling his duties during the implementation of tasks assigned to the military

unit. According to the Order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, dated

15.12.2020, Agshin Anvarli was awarded the "Flag of Azerbaijan" order for his

courageous and conscientious performance of his duties.
