Reformat
[edit]What would everyone think about reformatting this template to match that of the NHL? --Kmsiever (talk) 23:22, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Personally, I am not a huge fan of the NHL template. It's too big/gaudy. Simple is better. That said, if you choose to reformat this template, I would recommend reformatting {{OHL}} and {{QMJHL}} to match. Resolute 05:59, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm also against reformatting. The NHL template is fugly at best. Flibirigit (talk) 10:27, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- I went ahead and redesigned it based on the NHL template, primarily due to the fact that it is much easier to understand. Let me know what you think. — Hucz (talk) 23:33, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I still maintain that the NHL template is ugly. That said, I only removed some redlinks that are unlikely to ever be made into articles, don't exist or aren't notable at the junior level. Resolute 00:00, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- I reverted, because I too believe the NHL version is the one that should be switched. The old format of this nav-box is the standard across every other hockey league. The NHL template is the exception not the rule. Nav Boxes should be small and compact. -Djsasso (talk) 15:45, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- I would have to say that is a pretty good compromise now. Might want to change the other two leagues in the CHL to match it though for conformity. -Djsasso (talk) 18:32, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Conference error
[edit]Seeing as the Winterhawks and Oil Kings are now playing in the WHL Finals, it seems pretty likely that they are not both members of the Western Conference of the WHL as indicated in the template. Indeed, the WHL article lists the Western Conference as containing the B.C. and U.S. Divisions, while the Eastern Conference contains the East and Central Divisions. No idea how to fix it myself, though.--172.163.134.66 (talk) 02:55, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
